State Senator Nicole Mitchell has been arrested for 1st degree burglary.

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. A state senator from Woodbury, Minnesota was arrested Monday morning after police in Detroit Lakes were called to a home on a burglary report.
Police Chief Steve Todd says 49-year-old Nicole Mitchell was taken to the Becker County Jail. The homeowner called police.
The Becker County Attorney’s Office is reviewing the report before determining whether Mitchell will be charged. She was arrested for 1st degree burglary.
Mitchell is a Democrat. She was elected in 2022.
Mitchell is a former TV meteorologist and lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Reserve.
